This Susan is a unique, high tech, bronze tint, beveled glass server that will add a beautiful and decorative touch to your home or patio.

Bronze Glass:

Bronze tinted glass is created during the float glass manufacturing process. It’s not a coating, film, or paint; it is created by manipulating the recipe of the actual glass batch itself in the molten stage of production. The float glass manufacturers only make it during specific “runs” so it is a bit more rare than ordinary glass. It also adds a warmth to spaces that can add to the design elements of interiors.

Tempered:

Tempered (toughened through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling during manufacturing process) glass is two or more times stronger than annealed glass. When broken, it shatters into many small fragments which prevent major injuries. This type of glass is intended for uses requiring superior strength and safety properties while standard glass could pose potential risk of injuries.

Beveled:

We believe that a very important part of our Glass Lazy Susan is the turntable bearing. Without a high quality bearing it does not matter how beautiful it is. If it doesn't spin quietly and easily with or without a load on it, then it is not a high-quality Glass Lazy Susan. For that reason, we have sourced the highest quality Lazy Susan turntable bearing in the world. We know this for a fact because we have tested them all.

We only use a architectural grade bearing specifically manufactured to spin quietly and smoothly without any effort. This turntable contains approximately 160, 8mm steel ball bearings captured within an aluminum casing, each separated by a Silicon spacer to keep each individual ball bearing from touching each other. Our turntable hardware has the ability to support weight of up to 400lbs and still spin silently and effortlessly.

The bearing hardware is not attached to the Glass, several non skid suction saafety pads are inserted into the top and bottom of the bearing to attach to the bearing and attach to any surface without sliding around. Makes it much easier to remove and clean the Glass Lazy Susan. The bearing is silicone oil protected for ultra smooth rotation.
